What to expect: your first visit is mostly exam and conversation, not a full treatment — a real exam always comes before any hands-on care, regardless of how routine your case looks.
A Real Exam Comes First — Not an Adjustment
Before any hands-on treatment, every new patient gets a real exam: a health history, a screen for the rare but serious causes of pain that need more than chiropractic care, and hands-on orthopedic testing specific to what’s actually going on with you. That’s standard here regardless of how routine your case looks — not an upsell, not a formality.
What this means practically: your first visit is mostly exam and conversation, not a full treatment. That’s deliberate. A treatment plan built before an exam is a guess, not a plan.
You’ll Get an Honest Read, Not a Sales Pitch
After the exam, you’ll hear plainly what was found, whether chiropractic care is actually a good fit for it, and — if it is — what a realistic plan looks like. If something’s outside what chiropractic care can help with, that gets said directly, along with where to go instead.

- Comfortable clothing you can move in
- A list of current medications, if you’re on any
- Any relevant imaging or records, if you have them (not required — just helpful if available)
