The Basics
- How soon can I get in? Most new patients are seen within a few days, often the same week. Saturday times fill first.
- How long is the first visit? A flat 30 minutes, one patient at a time — no double-booking and usually no wait.
- What does it cost? A flat $70 for a 30-minute cash visit, or your insurance is billed. There’s also a $130/month membership for people who want regular maintenance care — it’s an option, not the default. See the Pricing page for the full breakdown.
- Do you take my insurance? In-network with BCBS MN, HealthPartners, UnitedHealthcare, Medica, Medicare Part B, VA Community Care Network, and Aetna. We check your benefits before your first visit so you know your real out-of-pocket cost ahead of time. More detail: how insurance covers chiropractic care in Minnesota.
- What should I bring? A photo ID and your insurance card if you’re using insurance. If you’ve had recent X-rays or an MRI for this problem, bring the report or images.
- Do I need a referral? No — you can book directly.
What Actually Happens
The first visit starts with a conversation about what’s going on and a red-flag screening to rule out the rare but serious causes of pain. Then a hands-on orthopedic and neurological exam to find what’s actually driving it. If chiropractic care is a good fit, treatment usually starts the same day — often a chiropractic adjustment where it’s indicated, plus a short exercise plan built around your specific pattern. If a different provider is the better starting point, we’ll tell you that instead. The full walk-through is here.
